The small tools habit that changed my late summer after a tiny failure

I started this because my rainy evening felt a little stuck and debugging seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 9 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Programming feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. I keep a note about learning for exactly this reason

I disagree a bit. tools matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations. The surprising part is easy to underestimate

Maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger than the post suggests. A little friction removed goes a long way

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. The Buenos Aires example makes it feel concrete

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about habit. I would write it down before changing anything else

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether tools stayed easy. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing
