What I wish I knew before trying tools without making it complicated
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 4 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the first draft for a while

agree completely. The simple version is underrated. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. For me it came down to the prototype

Can you share what you tried before this? The winter version is even more interesting

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing

I get the appeal though I would be careful calling it the best option. This is more useful on a tired Monday morning than on a perfect day. This is exactly the kind of tradeoff teams argue about for weeks

I do not have a strong take, but the complicated detail is useful. The beautiful part is easy to underestimate. The boring solution is probably the reliable one here
