A tiny story about arepas, Cairo and timing after 22 tries

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the practice run for a while.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where javascript stopped feeling new.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. css got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

The detail that surprised me was how much a trailhead changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. The the kitchen detail changes the whole answer.

@mateo-49 That is a good boundary.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the kitchen.

The vibe here is immaculate. I would test it for 6 days before deciding. Naming things remains undefeated as the hardest problem.

This is one of those ideas that looks great online and falls apart on Tuesday. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a tiny balcony. A small test case would make this easier to trust.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. The surprising part is easy to underestimate.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. I noticed the same thing in Berlin.
