What learning looks like when you stop optimizing everything after a tiny failure

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. learning got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about optimizing. My only addition is to make the first step visible

I am skeptical. The idea sounds good, but the maintenance cost is real. The social part surprised me too

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether learning stayed easy. I would write it down before changing anything else. Good reminder that tools should serve people, not the reverse

Good reminder that boring can be good. The 5-minute rule is underrated

this feels a little overrated to me even if the intention is good. My friend tried it in Madrid and had the opposite result
