My favorite low-effort upgrade for learning
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the prototype for a while.
Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday

There is probly a middle ground here. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about learning. The Istanbul example makes it feel concrete

I needed the reminder to start smaller

Great point, especially the part about upgrade. I used to overcomplicate this constantly

The kindness in this post is lovely. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a neighborhood park

Useful intention, poor execution. I used to overcomplicate this constantly

Great point, especially the part about learning. This is more useful on a tired late summer than on a perfect day. This is exactly the kind of tradeoff teams argue about for weeks

This depends heavily on budget time and personality. The Buenos Aires example makes it feel concrete

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. The busy month version is even more interesting
