What are the red flags beginners miss in Programming without overthinking it?

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where debugging stopped feeling new

Try making a tiny reproduction with no framework code. If it still fails, you found the core issue; if not, add pieces back one at a time. That is where the boring checklist helps

I would log the input, the expected output and the actual output first. Once those three are visible, the bug usually stops feeling mysterious. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. My only addition is to make the first step visible. The boring solution is probably the reliable one here

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines

This reminds me of something a friend in Lagos mentioned. This pairs weirdly well with sourdough. The boring solution is probably the reliable one here

This depends heavily on budget, time and personality. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability
