My 6-month experiment with javascript after a tiny failure
I started this because my lunch break felt a little stuck, and performance seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.
This is probly obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. ux got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam

the conclusion is too broad, but the example is interesting. I learned that one the expensive way

This is adorable and oddly motivating. This is more useful on a tired commute than on a perfect day

Can you expand on that a bit?

Good reminder that boring can be good. I would love to see a follow-up after 7 weeks

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. I am curious whether javascript still feels good next month

this is adorable and oddly motivating. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the corner shop
