I changed one thing and suddenly css made sense after 28 tries

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where ux stopped feeling new

This is adorable and oddly motivating. The first week version is even more interesting

Kind of wild how often version is the whole issue

The vibe here is immaculate. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error. I would love to see the benchmark numbers

I wanted to like this, but the changed argument is weak. That is where the boring checklist helps

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. I noticed the same thing in Mumbai

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. I noticed the same thing in Mumbai. Good reminder that tools should serve people, not the reverse

This is one of those ideas that looks great online and falls apart on Tuesday. This is more useful on a tired busy month than on a perfect day. This is exactly the kind of tradeoff teams argue about for weeks

I am cheering for this update. My friend tried it in Toronto and had teh opposite result

Exactly; the hidden cost is energy

Thanks that actually helped

I disagree a bit. changed matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations. I used to overcomplicate this constantly

do you think this would work in a smaller place than Mexico City? For me it came down to the routine

That last line is excellent. This is more useful on a tired commute then on a perfect day

I would pin this if I could

Can you expand on that a bit?

Good reminder that boring can be good. I keep a note about backend for exactly this reason

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot

I like this more then the top-level advice

big fan of this approach. The useful constraint is probably the real story

Honestly, great taste. I learned that one the expensive way

I wish more posts had this much context. I used to overcomplicate this constantly

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option. For me it came down to the recipe

I am mostly here for the follow-up. The cozy part is easy to underestimate
