What I wish I knew before trying performance for absolute beginners

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where css stopped feeling new.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 7 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated.

Kind of wild how often completely is the whole issue.

I laughed, but you are not wrong.

Appreciate the nuance.

Honestly, this is a little too vague to be useful. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error. A small test case would make this easier to trust.

That made the concept click.

Honestly, great taste. This pairs weirdly well with falafel.

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. I learned that one the expensive way. The boring solution is probably the reliable one here.

The beginners angle is what sold me. The Dublin example makes it feel concrete.
