A beginner mistake I am weirdly glad I made

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 9 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. decor got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Cozy Places feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where home stopped feeling new

I am skeptical. The idea sounds good, but the maintenance cost is real. I keep a note about decor for exactly this reason. This makes me want to start a weekend project

I get the appeal though I would be careful calling it the best option. I noticed the same thing in Berlin

Totally agree, especially for beginners

I disagree a bit. mistake matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations. I am curious whether comfort still feels good next month. Great use of light and restraint

Wonderful detail. It makes the whole thing feel real. The rainy evening version is even more interesting. Process photos would be fun to see
