Trying to make pastry less intimidating

My weekend felt a bit stuck, so I started experimenting with pastry. I'm no expert; I've just been writing down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I'd change next time. The smallest change was the one I kept.

What works for you on a tired weekday, not just an ideal Sunday?

This reminds me of something a friend in Toronto mentioned. I learned that one the expensive way.

I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

I am cheering for this update. This is more useful on a tired rainy evening than on a perfect day

Helpful and not preachy, wich is rare. A little friction removed goes a long way

I'd love a follow-up after nine weeks.

Can you expand on that a bit?

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. It sounds small, but the practice run matters

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. I noticed the same thing in Madrid

Great point, especially the part about favorite. Texture is doing a lot of work here

I'm skeptical. The idea sounds good, but the maintenance cost is real.

This made me smile more than expected. That is where the boring checklist helps
