What I wish I knew before trying silly from a trailhead

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the conversation for a while.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. I keep a note about jokes for exactly this reason.

Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

I would pin this if I could.

Great point, especially the part about silly. This is more useful on a tired first week than on a perfect day.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather than motivation. I noticed the same thing in Mexico City.
