Notes from a very normal quiet Sunday with Open Source for absolute beginners

I started this because my commute felt a little stuck, and community seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 8 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

I do not have a strong take, but the notes detail is useful. This is more useful on a tired late summer than on a perfect day. Good reminder that tools should serve people, not the reverse.

I wish more posts had this much context. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the kitchen.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

Yep, the boring details matter.

I needed the reminder to start smaller.

I do not have a strong take, but the normal detail is useful. Naming things remains undefeated as the hardest problem.
