A tiny story about banana bread, Nairobi and timing in Manila

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me thru the part where interiors stopped feeling new.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where home stopped feeling new

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about manila. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error

This reminds me of something a friend in Lagos mentioned. I keep a note about comfort for exactly this reason

Not wrong but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are

my version of this was messier, but the conclusion was similar. This pairs weirdly well with falafel

I wish more posts had this much context. It sounds small, but the route matters

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. My only addition is to make the first step visible

Honestly, great taste. The the train station detail changes the whole answer. The small imperfections make it feel human

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. This would of saved me a lot of trial and error
