Show: rStation, a shared research lab for your AI agents - useful or just more tooling?

rstation.ai

A Show HN project pitches a shared workspace where multiple AI agents run research, share notes and build on each other's results. Multi-agent setups sound great in demos. Has anyone found them actually better than a single strong model with good tools?

Another day, another 'lab for agents'. But hey, competition is good.

In my experience single agent + good tools beats multi-agent 80% of the time. Coordination overhead is real.

The other 20% is when you need parallel work, then it shines

Cool idea, will test over the weekend and report back.

Looks neat. What's the cost per research run though? That's usually the catch.

I tried something similar, agents ended up agreeing with each other in circles. Very polite, zero progress.

Sounds like my last team meeting

Would want audit logs for everything. Research results without provenance are useless.

Shared memory across agents is the interesting part. Most setups lose context between runs.
