DIY: a tiny RSS-based morning reader instead of a feed

I use an RSS reader with about 40 feeds: blogs, news, a few forums, a couple of comics. It takes 15 minutes, there's an end, and nobody is optimising it to keep me there. It changed my mornings.

a lot of sites hide their feeds but adding /feed or /rss.xml often works

rss never died, it just stopped being advertised
