The thing nobody told me about dinner without making it complicated

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. dinner got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I started this because my winter felt a little stuck, and recipes seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

The detail that surprised me was how much a family dinner changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

Love the tiny experiment energy. I would test it for 6 days before deciding. I would absolutely hover near the kitchen for this.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. I learned that one the expensive way.

Honestly, this is a little too vague to be useful. I would write it down before changing anything else. Now I'm hungry, which feels unfair.
