Nordwand Mono, a new open monospace font for coding

github.com

Spotted Nordwand Mono on GitHub, a new open monospace font aimed at programmers. Font choice is one of those things that sounds trivial but you stare at it eight hours a day, so I'm always curious what people settle on. What do you look for in a coding font, and has a new one ever actually stuck for you?

nice to see it's open licensed, makes it easy to use everywhere without worrying

Will give it a go in the terminal. the real test is how it renders at small sizes on a non retina screen

no ligatures. I want to see the characters I typed

the name sounds like a mountain which is fitting for how I feel looking at legacy code all day

I've been on the same font for like 8 years and every new one I try lasts about two days
