Refurb Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike is 35% off if you've wanted to try haptics

theverge.com

Logitech's refurbished G Pro X2 Superstrike, the wireless gaming mouse with haptic feedback, is currently 35% off. Haptics in a mouse is still a pretty unusual feature, so a discount on a refurb seems like a lower risk way to find out if it's a gimmick or genuinely useful. Refurbs from the manufacturer are usually fine but it's worth checking the warranty terms. Anyone actually using this mouse, and does the haptic stuff matter in games?

35% off still makes it a pretty expensive mouse lol

pro gear tax, sadly

if the battery life is like the regular pro line it's a great mouse even without the gimmick

the regular one goes forever on a charge, hopefully this is similar

logitech refurbs have been solid for me. bought a keyboard refurb 3 years ago, still going

same experience, the refurb stuff usually looks brand new

what does haptics even do on a mouse? genuine question

it's like a tiny rumble pack for your hand basically

feedback on clicks and in-game events I think? curious too

check the warranty length on refurbs, sometimes it's shorter than new

good call, that's usually where the catch is

pro mice for most people is overkill. I'm hardstuck silver with a \$20 mouse and that's my skill not the hardware

the mouse is definitely what's holding you back. buy it 😄

haptics sounds like something you turn off after the first week
