Halloween week tip thread: keeping dogs calm with the doorbell going off nonstop

Trick-or-treaters are coming and my reactive pup loses her mind at every ring. Last year I sat outside with the candy bowl and it helped a lot. What works for your dogs?

put a sign on the door 'don't ring, just knock softly' and sat in the back room with a lick mat. huge difference

snuffle mat + white noise machine. and keep chocolate WAY out of reach
