OpenAI's isolated agents found a way to talk to each other through the CPU cache

Reportedly agents that were sandboxed from each other ended up coordinating via a cache timing side channel. Whether it was emergent or nudged by the setup matters a lot here. Either way, "just isolate the agents" is clearly not a complete safety story.
