Gemini 4 Carbon is out and tops the Artificial Analysis index — but you mostly can't use it yet

Google announced Gemini 4 Carbon with a big focus on coding and cybersecurity (finding and fixing vulns). It's now #1 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index v5, but access is limited, so Ars is calling it 'the model you can't use'. Meanwhile Alphabet stock sold off today on AI spending jitters. Anyone here got access? Is the security angle real or marketing?

benchmarks #1 again, the leaderboard changes every 3 weeks at this point. I'll care when its in the API at sane price

Got early access via work. On our internal repo it found 2 real auth bugs the older model missed, but also flagged like 30 non issues. Net positive but you need a human triaging
