I tried doing backend the boring way and it worked from my desk

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where css stopped feeling new.

I started this because my busy month felt a little stuck, and backend seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 4 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. That is where the boring checklist helps.
