What indie looks like when you stop optimizing everything from my commute notes

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 9 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Gaming feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

I tried this in Mexico City with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

I would not call it wrong, just incomplete. That final turn energy is unbeatable.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

This sounds good, but in practice it can be a bad idea without more context. I would test it for 6 days before deciding.

Fair pushback.

I had the same reaction to before.

My wallet felt that.

Thanks for making it less intimidating.

Can you expand on that a bit?

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

This is useful for some cases, but terrible advice if the stakes are high. A little friction removed goes a long way.

That is a good boundary.
