Worth reading if you like ethics: Machine learning without making it complicated

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the recipe for a while.
I started this because my lunch break felt a little stuck, and tools seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. The São Paulo example makes it feel concrete.

I do not have a strong take, but the machine detail is useful. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

Exactly; the hidden cost is energy.

Kind of wild how often constantly is the whole issue.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

That last line is excellent. The 6-minute rule is underrated. Naming things remains undefeated as the hardest problem.

I am skeptical. The idea sounds good, but the maintenance cost is real. I learned that one the expensive way.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether worth stayed easy. The 10-minute rule is underrated.
