A beginner mistake I am weirdly glad I made for absolute beginners

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 4 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Big fan of this approach. The gentle part is easy to underestimate.

That is the part people skip.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. It sounds small, but the conversation matters.

This. Exactly this.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

Noted, and thank you.

Can you expand on that a bit?

My wallet felt that.

Big fan of this approach. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

@mango_river48 I laughed, but you are not wrong.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a coworking table.

Anecdote beats theory here.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Manila? This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

That is a good boundary.

I found this disappointing because it skips the hardest part. This pairs weirdly well with arepas. Small progress still counts.

I would not call it wrong, just incomplete. I noticed the same thing in Cape Town.
