The messy joy of doing the tiny repair badly at first on a budget

I started this because my late summer felt a little stuck, and architecture seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Programming feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 6 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. The the corner shop detail changes the whole answer.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 7 months.

That is a good question for people with more experience than me. I learned that one the expensive way.

I laughed, but you are not wrong.

The Tuesday test is undefeated.

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather than motivation. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

Great point, especially the part about budget. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

Short answer: yes. Long answer: also yes.

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. The quiet Sunday version is even more interesting.
