What evidence looks like when you stop optimizing everything after 5 tries

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where questions stopped feeling new.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the recipe for a while.

I wanted to like this, but the like argument is weak. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability. Now I want to read the paper behind it.
