What is a realistic first 10-week plan for multiplayer with limited time?
I tried this in Lisbon with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more then the perfect plan.
I had a disappointing first try a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

my practical advice is to make the next step tiny enough that you can do it today. Momentum usually answers half the question. I would love to see a follow-up after 10 weeks

Yes, but I would approach it in a small, testable way rather than trying to solve everything at once. The trap is trying to optimize before you have feedback.
- Start small and make the next step obvious.
- Keep notes so you can compare what worked.
- Ask someone with recent experience, not just strong opinions.
Come back with what happened; the details will make the next answer better

This feels like advice from a patient friend. That is where the boring checklist helps

Thanks for making it less intimidating

The boring logistics are always the hidden part. The social part surprised me too. This is why house rules need a constitution

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather then motivation. It sounds small, but the first draft matters

The middle path is probly best: try it cheaply keep notes and decide after you have real evidence. The 4-minute rule is underrated

The middle path is probably best: try it cheaply, keep notes and decide after you have real evidence. This pairs weirdly well with mango sticky rice

kind of wild how often regional is the whole issue

This is the kind of disagreement I like

The best answer in the thread, honestly

I would ask what outcome you want in two weeks, not in some ideal future. That makes teh choice much clearer. I would love to see a follow-up after 4 weeks

I would ask what outcome you want in two weeks, not in some ideal future. That makes the choice much clearer. The cozy constraint is probably the real story

I would ask what outcome you want in two weeks, not in some ideal future. That makes the choice much clearer. My friend tried it in São Paulo and had the opposite result
