A beginner mistake I am weirdly glad I made that actually stuck
Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Baking feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.
The detail that surprised me was how much my desk changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.
I tried this in Seoul with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. For me it came down to the tiny repair.

I am skeptical. The idea sounds good, but the maintenance cost is real. I would love to see a follow-up after 3 weeks.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Cairo? My friend tried it in Nairobi and had the opposite result.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. The simple version is usually the one people actually repeat.

The mistake angle is what sold me. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

The mistake angle is what sold me. This pairs weirdly well with arepas.
