Race this weekend? Share your taper nerves and last-minute rituals

Plenty of big fall races land this weekend, and the final 48 hours are always the weirdest part: legs feel heavy from doing nothing and every tiny twinge feels like an injury. I lay out my kit the night before and refuse to try anything new, especially breakfast. Who's racing, what distance, and what's your pre-race ritual?

phantom taper pains are so real. my knee hurts only on the two days before a race, every time
