Per The Verge, Starbucks is exploring digital menu boards that change when a participating customer pulls up, plus more AI in the app. I get the convenience pitch, but part of the café ritual for me is ordering the same thing without being sold to. Would a menu that 'knows you' make your coffee run better, or is this upselling with extra steps?
