The neighbour kid who 'interviewed' everyone on our street for a school project made a little newspaper and delivered a copy to every door

She's maybe nine. She knocked on every door two weeks ago with a clipboard asking how long we'd lived here and what our favourite thing about the street was. This morning there was a stapled, hand-drawn 'Maple Row Gazette' in our mailbox with a quote from every household, including the grumpy man at the end who apparently loves 'the sound of the bins on Tuesday'. Half the street has now met each other properly for the first time. Tell me about a small thing that made your street feel like a neighbourhood.

our street did a shared tool shelf in someone's garage. 3 years later it's become the place everyone actually talks
