Dark evenings are back: how do you keep the after-work run (or walk) going through winter?

With the clocks going back, my 6pm run route goes from golden hour to pitch black in about a week. Last year that's exactly when my routine fell apart. This year I'm trying a headlamp, a reflective vest, a lit loop around the park, and moving two sessions to lunch. What's kept you consistent through the dark months, and has anyone switched to mornings and actually stuck with it?
