November is the most underrated travel month and I'm tired of pretending otherwise

Prices drop off a cliff after half-term, museums are empty, and places like Lisbon, Seville or Sicily are still mild enough to sit outside at lunch. The trade-off is short days and a few closed seasonal spots, but I'd take that over August crowds every time. Where have you been in November that turned out better than the peak-season version? And where definitely did NOT work off-season?

Venice in November. foggy, quiet, a bit of acqua alta, felt like a completely different city
