Hunting season is open in a lot of places: do you wear blaze orange on the trail?

Rifle seasons for deer are starting in many US states around now, and plenty of public land trails are shared with hunters. I bought a cheap orange beanie and a pack cover after a slightly too close encounter last year, and I put a bright vest on the dog. Do you change your routes or gear in November, or just stick to the trails as normal?

I just hike in state parks where hunting isn't allowed for those few weeks, not worth the stress

orange hat and talk loudly with your hiking partner. most hunters I've met are really careful, it's about being obvious
