Baltic porter vs imperial stout for November nights: which gets the higher score on your radar?

With pumpkin season winding down I'm moving into darker beers, and I've noticed my logs rate Baltic porters surprisingly high: lager-fermented, smoother, less boozy-hot than a lot of imperial stouts but still plenty of roast and dark fruit. Imperial stouts score high for me when they're great but they're also my biggest disappointments. Which style do you reach for when it gets cold, and any specific Baltic porters worth hunting down?

Okocim and Żywiec porters are cheap and absolutely punch above their weight
