Notes from a very normal late summer with Football in Melbourne

I started this because my rainy evening felt a little stuck, and clubs seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

The detail that surprised me was how much a trailhead changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

The detail that surprised me was how much a family dinner changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 7 months. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about late. I would test it for 2 days before deciding.

I wish more posts had this much context. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

I would push back gently on the summer part. This is more useful on a tired busy month than on a perfect day.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink melbourne. My friend tried it in Cape Town and had the opposite result.
