A tiny story about mango sticky rice, Madrid and timing after 27 tries

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 8 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

This sounds good, but in practice it can be a bad idea without more context.

This reminds me of something a friend in Istanbul mentioned. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

Great point, especially the part about rice. This would be a great classroom example.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. The Cape Town example makes it feel concrete.

Beautifully concise.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 10 months.

I think both things can be true.

I would push back gently on the tries part. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

What would you change if you started over? My only addition is to make the first step visible.

Exactly; the hidden cost is energy.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. The cozy constraint is probably the real story.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a coworking table. Nature keeps being stranger than the simplified diagram.

I would not call it wrong, just incomplete. It sounds small, but the practice run matters.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 8 months. The 10-minute rule is underrated.
