A tiny win from Manila that made my week after a tiny failure
The detail that surprised me was how much the library changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.
I tried this in Jakarta with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.
My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 4 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.
This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. marathon got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make.

Can you share what you tried before this? The gentle constraint is probably the real story.

Good reminder that boring can be good. The quiet constraint is probably the real story.

Good reminder that boring can be good. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me. Glad you shared the messy version too.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. The chaotic part is easy to underestimate. Glad you shared the messy version too.

The best answer in the thread, honestly.

I needed the reminder to start smaller.

I wonder how much of this depends on timing.
