Talarico wins Texas Senate seat, first Democrat to do it since 1988

BBC has a piece on how Elon Musk's money didn't deliver Texas for the Republicans this time. James Talarico is the first Democrat to win a Texas Senate race in 38 years. Big outside spending doesn't seem to guarantee results anymore, or maybe it never did. Does a single mega-donor help or backfire with voters these days?
