Cat brought me a 'gift' and it was my partner's sock, again

Third time this week our cat has carried one of my partner's socks to my side of the bed and yowled about it at 3am. Only his socks. Never mine. We're running a theory that she's either matchmaking or making a statement about his laundry habits. What weird things does your cat 'hunt'?
