Shooting the Taurids this week: settings and tips that worked for me

The Taurids are slow but known for bright fireballs, and they're active now. Last night I got two decent streaks with: wide lens (14-24mm), f/2.8, ISO 1600-3200, 15-20s exposures, intervalometer running for an hour, pointed about 45 degrees away from Taurus. Manual focus on a bright star, lens warmer to stop dew. What's your setup, and has anyone had luck with the fireballs?

Don't forget batteries die fast in the cold, keep spares in an inside pocket
