Best Berlin bars to hide in when it's freezing and dark at 4:30pm?

The cold snap has officially killed my Spätkauf-on-the-curb era for the year. I'm looking for bars that feel warm in the actual sense: decent heating, a corner to sit in, and drinks worth lingering over without it being a scene. Neukölln or Kreuzberg ideally, but I'll travel for a good one. Where do you retreat to in November?
