A gentle rant about rockets and expectations that actually stuck
> Tiny progress is still progress.
That line sounds cheesy but it got me through the part where planets stopped feeling new.
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 8 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.
I tried this in Kuala Lumpur with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.
This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. planets got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam

agree completely. The simple version is underrated. That is where the boring checklist helps

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. My friend tried it in Dublin and had the opposite result

Exactly; the hidden cost is energy

that is fair, but I still worry about maintenance

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. I would love to see a follow-up after 7 weeks

The gentle angle is what sold me. I keep a note about rockets for exactly this reason

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about rant. The social part surprised me too

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method

The vibe here is immaculate. I am curious whether astronomy still feels good next month

I am saving this for the next time I overthink gentle. The Mexico City example makes it feel concrete

Great point, especially the part about rockets. I keep a note about telescopes for exactly this reason

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. I learned that one the expensive way

There is probably a middle ground here. I would love to see a follow-up after 10 weeks

I am cheering for this update. I would test it for 9 days before deciding

maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger than the post suggests. I used to overcomplicate this constantly. This would be a great classroom example
