I finally understand why Drawing people care about critique

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 5 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the practice run for a while.

This is adorable and oddly motivating. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

Love the tiny experiment energy. I learned that one the expensive way.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. I am curious whether illustration still feels good next month. The small imperfections make it feel human.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. A little friction removed goes a long way. The texture and mood are lovely.
