My 10-month experiment with telescopes after 47 tries

I started this because my winter felt a little stuck, and telescopes seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the prototype for a while.

This reminds me of something a friend in São Paulo mentioned. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability. The scale of it still melts my brain a little.

Honestly, this is a little too vague to be useful. I would love to see a follow-up after 3 weeks.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. I learned that one the expensive way. The scale of it still melts my brain a little.
