Can we talk about the underrated side of infosec for absolute beginners

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 9 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

My version of this was messier, but the conclusion was similar. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

The boring logistics are always the hidden part.

There is probably a middle ground here. A little friction removed goes a long way. I would love to see the benchmark numbers.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink side. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

The kindness in this post is lovely. I keep a note about privacy for exactly this reason.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. My friend tried it in Dublin and had the opposite result.

I think this advice is overrated. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error. A small test case would make this easier to trust.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. The delightful constraint is probably the real story.
