Notes from a very normal weekend with Programming after a tiny failure

I tried this in Dublin with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the practice run for a while.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. The 10-minute rule is underrated.

This is adorable and oddly motivating.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

Short answer: yes. Long answer: also yes.

I like this more than the top-level advice.

Now I want a spreadsheet.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether notes stayed easy. The practical constraint is probably the real story. I would love to see the benchmark numbers.
