My 10-month experiment with stories without making it complicated

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. questions got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

The detail that surprised me was how much a family dinner changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. A little friction removed goes a long way.

The kindness in this post is lovely. The Toronto example makes it feel concrete.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. The useful part is easy to underestimate.

Anecdote beats theory here.

What would you change if you started over? I would test it for 4 days before deciding.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. I keep a note about advice for exactly this reason.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. I would test it for 9 days before deciding.
